COMING LATER: THE FACTS BEHIND THE MURDER OF A MEMPHIS MAN BY BARTLETT POLICE

Later today I will provide the facts surrounding Bartlett Police storming a North Memphis home and killing 42 year old Malcolm Shaw. In leaving the scene Bartlett Police left a copy of their SEARCH WARRANT which i will post here as well. Some media source stated that Shaw met the officers with a gun,I will show with pictures of the blood stains that Shaw was killed in his bed room.

I will question how the shooting officer Patrick Cici could own 7 properties in Shelby County including a house 2.5 miles from the location of the shooting on a Barlett police officer's salary including the $279,000 house he lives in in Germantown with his stay at home wife Gina.

Whose really the drug dealer? this police officer or the man with no car and living like a hermit in a house with no utilities?

Matthews, better that you spend some time being concerned with the brothers killing off one another, including the killing of whites, that is going on several times a week, year in and year out, not these once in a while situations where the brothers take on, with gun in hand, a police officer doing his duty.

....7 properties??..wow..makes ya wonder.just seems weird to me that undercover is running up in houses serving warrants as well. Was Malcolm Shaw's name on the arrest warrant?? Only thing that has been said publicly was the address. I guess the female caller that "wanted your job come Monday" is also at WMC as well..I saw Patrick Cici there first. Meanwhile, 48 hours and counting...no city council members voicing out on the issue. time for a roll call. All this and i wonder, how can i tell the urban youth that their life is just as important as someone in the suburbs when u have situations like this??? ......

Just because it appears this officer has bought several houses in depressed areas of this city, you think that has something to do with the unfortunate situation on Standridge?

I would think the BPD does not pay that well, but it looks like he has put his money to good use.

Obviously he is not a racist (like you) or he would not be buying homes in black areas and renting them to black families.

Sounds like you are jealous to me.

Just because someone owns properties and lives in a fine home doesn't mean they are a drug dealer or doing anything illegal. There is this term called "Inheritance". Sometimes people die and leave money, property to sons ,daughters, etc. Sometimes people die and leave a food stamp card and some unpaid bills.Your attack on the Officer regarding property is baseless and hurts your credibility in this Thaddeus.Stick to the facts for once.

You obviously make your living writing fiction and passing it off as fact. I don't see how anyone would give you a copy of the search warrant, so you probably "axed" someone to Photoshop one for you. Your ignunt ass surely couldn't do it yourself.

Anyone with some street knowledge knows what went on. This happens all the time! FROM A STREET PERSPECTIVE, it seems that Mr. Shaw knew what was going on with Cici, maybe taking money from drug dealers that he caught, claiming the money as his own. You know you can't afford 7 houses on a police salary unless they are *very* cheap. Cici got him before he went and told, and probably would have pent the crime on some other young black man.

what a piece of journalism! to reveal an undercover officer is one thing but to put out the name of his wife and kids is just a blatant attempt to endanger innocent lives. you really need to hope and pray that one of your gang banger buddies doesn't try anything stupid

Thad when a police officer shoot a Black man it is called a unfortunate incident; but when a police officer shoot a dog during a burglery call it is called a tragedy. This whole incident does not pass the smell test. If this officer owns a home two miles away from the shooting, maybe he was killed because he knew too much. Also Thad because a gun was found at the scene does not mean it belonged to the victim. Police always carry a untraceable gun with them just in case they need it.

Thad, everyone that I have talked to have stated that if you ever leave KWAM they would no longer support the station. Thad regardless of what happens, we know that you will still keep us informed on your blog. Would you please post the address on your blog where we can mail in a donation.

Thad who owned the property where the shooting took place? Also Thad it was so funny when that white woman called your show Friday and said that she was going to have your job.

are you seriously that moronic that you think its ok to put that detective & his family at risk by mentioning their names & home address? How dare you! you obviously only care about yourself & the ratings of your stupid show! while you're upping your ratings.. try upping your integrity, class, and morals! I will honestly say a prayer for you!

WHAT ABOUT THE ENDANGERMENT OF MALCOLM SHAW? SURELY THE OFFICER CAN TAKE CARE OF HIMSELF?

I hope you will continue to follow this story. Thank you for reporting on the seven homes owned by the officer. It raises a lot of questions that need to be answered.
I'd like to know what kind of gun Mr. Shaw allegedly pulled on the officer. In ten years I knew Mack Shaw, I never saw him with a gun or heard him discuss guns. Did the officers conduct a search of the house and did the search uncover any evidence? Stay on it please??

"Your attack on the Officer regarding property is baseless and hurts your credibility in this Thaddeus.Stick to the facts for once."

You are the first person that has ever suggested that Thaddeus Matthews had any credibility. Matthews is the town joke to those with an IQ above 90. Matthews seems to do all right with the town dumb bells as one would think when listening to his radio show.

As to owning properties, there are many in this city who are mortgaged to the hilt on rental housing that meet their notes from rental income with the hope of making a profit through a rise in real estate values. A debtor without a line of credit, as Matthews finds, himself would find that over his head as he sits in his Obama provided hovel.

____________

Great observation and mostly likely the reality.

Other people DO HAVE good credit, which opens doors and gives them the ability to buy up all of these foreclosed homes that abound in Memphis.

Stop being a hater Mad Thad.

Is it called a job if you don't get paid doing it? And you have to pay out just to be there?

Things that make me go hmmmmmm. Funny!

Thad the public is being played when it comes to the war on drugs. If the government was serious about the drug game, they would follow the money trail. If a person who works a $50,000 a year job and is living in a $300,000 house, something is wrong.

Hey Matthews, why don't you respond to those posters who factually prove that your interpretation of the law is meaningless?
