At the time of the alleged rape of April Hall at the Kroger's Poplar Plaza location Geryl Hill still had a license to be a security guard in the state of Tennessee. The rape charge that 31 year old security guard Geryl Hill now faces may or may not be true. The charges are solely based on the statement of a woman who was thought to be shoplifting alone with her cousin.
It's also interesting that the woman gave her phone number to Hill and did not contact the police until the next day after calling Kroger's first. Is it possible that the call to Kroger's was a call to demand money after plotting a payment based on a lie? Is Kroger's moving to fast in putting Security First out of business when the alleged act can not be proven and Hill has not had his day in court?
Checking General Sessions Court records there's three April Hall's listed. two of which is mostly likely the same person seeing that the birth month and date is the same and only the year is different. That April Hall has numerous charges of theft of property and even a charge of passing bad checks.
Is it possible that Hill caught the woman stealing and while upstairs in the security room at Kroger's April Hall used her female charms to get the guard to release her in exchange for her phone number and the promise of sexual favors, and then thought of a scheme to say that she was raped and sue Kroger's? Hmmmmmm. Is it possible that Kroger's made it's move to soon?

Okay, even if your scenerio is true, that action by the guard what show that the security company hires less than honest people, who have the potential to get Kroger in trouble. Unless you are saying that it was okay for the guard to let her go in exchange for sexual favors. \
Also when I searched your name in the courts database, you seem to have longer record than she does, so does that mean no one should pay attention to you? Your logic, not mine. Also when one would add in the civil suits against you, based on your logic, you would have NO CREDIBILITY.
That's Security Point, I attempted to work for Huston, and i had to leave because, he had several Security Officers with bad backgrounds. He was hiring warm bodies to keep the checks coming from Kroger, check with the Dept. of Com. and Insurance and request how many cease and desist orders he received from the state pertaining to his hiring of guards with felony backgrounds in the last years, he gets on the news and acts like he so hurt.
YES, THEY MADE A MOVE TOO SOON. IT WAS THE DAY THEY HIRED A FIRM THAT WOULD TAKE ON SOMEONE WITH THE BACK GROUND OF THIS ACCUSED.
DON'T YOU REALLY FEEL SORRY FOR THAT FLAT TIRE, FLAT BRAINED AROUND THE TOWN BUDDIES OF WILLIE HERENTON WHO CLAIMS THEIR ACCOMPOLICES HAVE LOST THEIR BREAD AND BUTTER.
THE CITY WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER OFF USING TRIPLE AAA OR AN INSURANCE COMPANY THAT INCLUDED ROAD SERVICE WITHIN THEIR POLICY.
A CITY WITH FIVE THOUSAND CARS PAYING AN AVERAGE OF $200.00 PER CAR FOR LABOR ONLY IN CHANGING TIRES AND FIXING FLATS. SURE WISH THEY WOULD COUNT THE TIRE PLUGS IN A FEW OF THOSE CARS THAT SEEMED TO GO FLAT AT THE DROP OF A TIRE WRENCH.
MAYBE WILLIE CAN GO TO NEW YORK AND RUN FOR CHARLIE RANGLE'S SEAT IN CONGRESS. HE HAS THE RIGHT EXPERIENCE IN RIPPING OFF THE COMMUNITY. WILLIE AND FORDIE, JR. WOULD BE A REAL CONTRAST. BUT THEN I DOUBT IF FORDIE, JR. OR ANYONE IN CONGRESS WOULD GIVE WILLIE THE TIME OF DAY. WHAT A GALOOT!
This grease ball had two priors for rape. Matthews stop trying to defend these low life humane beings while hiding facts about themselves in the same way you delete anything posted about your criminal past. Lord only knows what other crimes this gang had committed.
Little wonder that there is so much crime within the Poplar Plaza Mall. It would seem that Kroger would be better off closing down at that location, but I guess food stamps are as good as cash. Might be safer for the city to keep places like Poplar Plaza and Southland Mall isolated and with their own security so as to avoid spreading the riff raft of those locations from spreading further throughout the area. Just circle some razor wire throughout the stores.
Hey Thaddeus!
What happened to the off-duty cops Kroger used to hire?
Guess Kroger didn't want any more rogues!
Hey Thaddeus!
"What happened to the off-duty cops Kroger used to hire?"
Guess they felt Poplar Plaza and Southland Mall were just too dangerous.
You have to hand it to Mayor Wharton, keep the riff raft downtown and protect the area around Southland Mall. Don't spread disease as Kritter Kash is trying to do in moving students out of Southeast Memphis.
Seriously the blacks in the south are all paranoid. I have lived in Philadelphia, PA and in Oakland, CA and you people here are just paranoid here in the mid south!! Besides that I have found that blacks hate blacks here in Memphis...how sad is that??? Support your own and stop pissing and whining!! And of course down here whites and blacks will never be as one...so there is no ONE Memphis! This is a very sad place to live. I was raised to live with all races and not to discriminate based on color of skin. How sad it is here. I grew up in the 50's & 60's around all races and was told by my parents that there is good and bad in all people & to never judge someone based on the color of their skin. White radio stations black radio stations....really??? When I was a teenager we listened to soul music and it wasn't restricted to just black people. If this is such a bible thumping god fearing society down here you all should take a good look at your faith because I am almost positive God would not like all this separation you got going on down here. I listen to your show because you support what you believe in and people respect that. Have a great weekend!
